Lindsey has a strong background in writing and composition that enables her to excel at drafting Estate Planning documents, Wills, Trusts, and pleadings in Probate and Estate Administration. Her writing talent in motion practice is a significant benefit of retaining her as counsel. In addition to her writing skills, Lindsey is also a very successful litigator in civil and probate courts. She recently obtained a $111,000 judgment in a contested probate fraud case. She also has many successful jury verdicts in trial in Jefferson and Madison County.
Before starting her own practice, Lindsey worked for some of the top trial lawyers in Alabama, which gave her the benefit of taking numerous depositions and successfully trying jury trials. Her litigation experience helps her evaluate cases with a "big picture" mentality and maximize returns whether a jury trial is needed. On occasion, she also resolves cases through mediation and arbitration, which can sometimes be cost-saving. A key focus of her practice is also estate planning, wills, trusts, estate and probate administration, and civil litigation, which involves drafting legal instruments and trial work. Lindsey is licensed to practice in all state courts in Alabama, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and the Eleventh Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
Lindsey serves as CLE Chairperson of the Birmingham Bar Association's Probate Section. She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham. She and her family attend Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Lindsey lives in Hoover with her husband and two daughters.
Lindsey earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, where she was a finalist in the Donworth Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Lindsey attended Birmingham-Southern College where she received a B.A. in English and a minor in classics. At Birmingham-Southern, Lindsey was also an active member of the Student Government Association and Alpha Omicron Pi Women’s Fraternity.

Jolie Readeaux
Paralegal
Jolie Readeaux works tirelessly for the firm's clients. Her work as a paralegal requires heightened attention to detail. One of her main priorities is opening estates for claims pursued under the Camp Lejeune Justice Act. Jolie excels at managing multiple cases while also attending to the multi-faceted requirements of opening estates that differ significantly between counties. Each Alabama Probate Court has different requirements for filing and publication in estates. Jolie is a large part of how our firm has increased our blueprint to now have estates open in 41 of Alabama's 67 counties, which includes cases as far north as Limestone County and Madison County and as far south as Baldwin County and Mobile County.
Jolie drafts pleadings; submits requests for renunciation and bond applications; and drafts publication notices, objections to creditor claims, and inventories. She also assists with notification of Medicaid, which is required in every Alabama estate. She also conducts property searches and reviews tax records, title reports, and lien information.
Jolie played collegiate softball at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is currently preparing to attend law school.
Jolie is an asset to the firm, and she has excellent relationships with our clients. In her spare time, she enjoys giving private softball lessons, playing recreational volleyball, and spending time with her dog.
